As of 2026, no information availabale on Paper II for SSC CPO Exam. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CPO 2025 notification on its official website, www.ssc.gov.in, for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector (SI) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Delhi Police. The online application process will be conducted from 26 September to 26 October 2025. After the completion of the application process, SSC will conduct the Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination) for SSC SI, ASI, and CAPF from 9 to 12 December 2025.
Since the SSC CAPF (Sub-Inspector) Paper-I exam was held from 9 to 12 December 2025, the result is expected to be declared in December 2025 or early January 2026 based on usual SSC timelines and the Commission generally releases results 4–6 weeks after the exam period.
IMPORTANT DATES
The SSC CPO Exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) every year to recruit candidates for the post of Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police and Sub Inspector in the Central Armed Police Forces. The SSC CPO 2025 exam will be conducted in four stages – Paper I, Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). Candidates who qualify in each stage will be shortlisted for the positions of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police and Sub Inspector (General Duty) in other CAPFs. The online application process is tentatively scheduled to begin in June 2025, with the last date to apply expected in July 2025. Following the completion of the application process, the Commission is tentatively set to conduct the Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination) for SSC SI, ASI & CAPF in 9 to 12 December 2025.

SALARY STRUCTURE
The salary and pay scale for SSC CPO Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPFs are determined as per the 7th Pay Commission. Candidates selected for these posts will receive a salary in line with the prevailing government norms and regulations.

HOW TO APPLY
The SSC CPO 2025 online application process will commence on the official website following the release of the official notification. Candidates can submit their applications up to the specified closing date. To ensure eligibility, it is essential to complete the application process before the deadline. Applications must be submitted online only through the official SSC portal, and both the form submission and fee payment must be completed within the given timeframe.
Steps for SSC CPO Online Registration
Step 1: Visit the official SSC website by clicking on the registration link provided on this page.
Step 2: Click on the “Apply” link available on the official website. This will open the registration window in a new tab.
Step 3: Select “New Registration” under the SSC CPO 2025 application section and click on the Register button.
Step 4: Begin the registration process by entering your basic details, including your name, parents’ names, date of birth, email ID, and mobile number.
Step 5: Click Submit to complete the registration. Make sure to review all entered details carefully before submitting. Once submitted, a Registration ID will be generated for future login.
Step 6: Log in using your Registration ID, date of birth, and password to proceed. Next, upload your photograph and signature according to SSC’s specifications:

ADMIT CARD
The SSC CPO Admit Card for Paper I and Paper II will be released separately by the Staff Selection Commission. Candidates who register for SSC CPO 2025 will be able to download their admit cards well before the exam dates. The admit cards will be available on the official SSC website, and candidates must use their registration credentials to access and download them.

SELECTION PROCESS
The Selection Process for SSC Sub-Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) in CISF (conducted via SSC CPO Examination) is standardized and consistent across recent cycles (including 2025/2026 references). Exam Pattern
The SSC CPO selection process consists of four stages. It begins with Paper I, which is a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Paper II

Mode of Examination
The SSC CPO Paper II examination is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and contains only objective-type multiple-choice questions.
Medium of Examination

Marking Scheme

Normalization of Marks
Since the SSC CPO examination may be conducted in multiple shifts, the Staff Selection Commission applies a normalization process to ensure fairness across different question papers. The normalized score is then used to determine the final result of candidates appearing in multi-shift examinations.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible for the SSC CPO Recruitment, candidates must meet certain minimum requirements. There are three key eligibility criteria that applicants must satisfy in order to apply for the exam. Detailed information about these criteria is provided in the section below.
Nationality
A candidate must be either:
A Citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories 2 and 3 above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the examination, but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

Education Qualification
For the post of Sub Inspector (GD) in Delhi Police & CAPFs
A candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University.
For the post of Sub Inspector (Executive) in Delhi Police (Males only)
Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motor cycle and Car) as on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise, they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.
Medical Standards
All the candidates who qualify in Paper- II will be medically examined by the Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon belonging to Grade- I of any Central / State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary. Candidates, who are found to be unfit, will be informed of the position, and they can make an appeal before the Review Medical Board within the prescribed time limit of 15 days. The decision of Re- Medical Board / Review Medical Board will be final and no appea l/ representation against the decision of the Re- Medical Board / Review Medical Board will be entertained.
1- Eye – Sight: The minimum near vision should be N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). The minimum distant vision should be 6 / 6 (better eye) and 6 / 9 (worse eye) of both eyes without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity. In a right – handed person, the right eye is the better eye and vice versa.
2- The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes, and they should possess high colour vision.
3- They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.

The online application process is tentatively scheduled to begin in June 2025, with the last date to apply expected in July 2025. Following the completion of the application process, the Commission is tentatively set to conduct the Paper-I (Computer-Based Examination) for SSC SI, ASI & CAPF in 9 to 12 December 2025.
