Admit Card

The Admit Card is a mandatory document for appearing in the examination. It is typically released on the regional SSC websites 7-10 days before the exam date.

How to Download Admit Card:

  1. Visit the Official SSC Website (ssc.gov.in).

  2. Navigate to the “Admit Card” section and select your respective Region (e.g., SSC NR, SSC CR).

  3. Click on the link for “Download e-Admit Card for CHSL (10+2) Examination 2025”.

  4. Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Date of Birth.

  5. Verify the captcha and click Submit.

  6. Download and print a clear copy of your Admit Card for the exam day.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the official notification for the SSC CHSL Examination 2025 on June 23, 2025. This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 3,131 vacancies for posts including Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

SSC CHSL Tier-II Exam Pattern

The Tier-II examination is a Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in two sessions on the same day. It is the deciding factor for the final merit list.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality

A candidate must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or a person of Indian origin/Tibetan refugee who meets specific migration criteria set by the Government of India (migrated before Jan 1, 1962, or from specific countries with intent to settle permanently).

1. Tier- II will be conducted in two sessions – Session- I & Session- II, on same day. Session- I will include conducting of Section- I, Section- II and Module- I of Section- III. Session- II will include conducting of Module- II of Section- III.

Part A – Skill Test for the post of DEO/ DEO Grade ‘A’

Data Entry Speed of 8,000 (Eight Thousand) Key Depressions per hour on the Computer’ will be adjudged on the basis of the correct entry of words / key depressions as per the given passage. 


Part B – Typing Test for other posts i.e. LDC/ JSA

Candidates opting for English medium should have a typing speed of 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) and those opting for Hindi medium should have typing speed of 30 words per minute (w.p.m.). 35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to about 10500 key depressions per hour and about 9000 key depressions per hour respectively.

Scheme Of Examination

1. Tier- II Examination will be held as a Objective-type computer-based Examination.

2. The Tier- II will be held in two sessions – Session- I & Session- II, on the same day. Session- I will include conducting Section- I, Section- II and Module- I of Section- III. Session- II will include conducting Module- II of Section- III.

3. It will be mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all Tier- II sections.

4. Tier- II will consist of Objective Type Questions, except for Module- II of Section- III. The questions will be set in English and Hindi except for Module- II (i.e. English Language and Comprehension module) in Section- II.

5. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section- I, Section- II and Module- I of Section- III. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

6. Module- I of Section- III i.e. Computer Knowledge Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature.

7. Skill Test / Typing Test will be of qualifying nature.

8. Tier- II Examination will be held as a Objective-type computer-based examination.

A candidate must be either :

A Citizen of India or,

A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 to permanently settle in India or,
