SALARY STRUCTURE

EXAM SYLLABUS

The IBPS RRB Assistant 2025 syllabus covers five main areas: Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English/Hindi Language, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. In the Preliminary Exam, the focus is on Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, while the Mains Exam includes all subjects (with an option to choose between English or Hindi). ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates willing to apply for IBPS RRB Office Assistant Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. The criteria for eligibility IBPS RRB Office Assistant are decided by the conduction body itself. The candidate’s eligibility for RRB Office Assistant Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:

The candidate must be:

A Citizen of India or,

A subject of Nepal or,

A subject of Bhutan or,

A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

Note 2. Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result to be submitted at the time of interview for the posts of Officers (Scale I, II and III) and at the time of joining for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose).

Note 3. The candidate should indicate the percentage obtained in Graduation calculated to the nearest two decimals in the online application.

Note  4. Calculation of Percentage:  The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks (in all the subjects irrespective of honours / optional/additional optional subject, if any) and multiplying by 100.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process for IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Clerk) 2025 consists of two stages:

Preliminary Examination

Main Examination,

  1. Followed by provisional allotment based on Mains results.
  2. There is no interview for the Office Assistant role.

Important Points

Selection of Centers: During the application process, candidates are required to select their preferred exam center. IBPS will make the final allotment based on availability and administrative convenience.

Center Allocation: Once the application is submitted, the selected exam center cannot be changed. Candidates will be allotted the center as per their preferences or the nearest available option.

Admit Card: The exact address of the exam center will be provided in the admit card.


ADMIT CARD

IBPS RRB admit card is available online. It shows candidate details, exam date, time, and center. Candidates must carry the printed admit card with a valid photo ID; no entry is allowed without it.

Release: Admit cards are released online on the IBPS website a few weeks before the exam.

How to Download: Login with Registration Number and Password/Date of Birth.

EXAM SYLLABUS

A composite time of 45 minutes is provided to candidates to complete two sections, namely Reasoning and Numerical Ability. Candidates must clear the cut-off of each section. The cut-off for each section is decided by the team of IBPS depending on the level of difficulty of the paper.

Candidates willing to apply for IBPS RRB Office Assistant Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities.
