BIHAR SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL EXAM 2026: LATEST UPDATE:
The Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) 2025, conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), is a mandatory qualifying examination for candidates who wish to become teachers at the secondary (Classes 9–10) and senior secondary (Classes 11–12) levels in Bihar. The official notification for Bihar STET 2025 was released on 10 September 2025. The examination was conducted from 14 October to 31 October 2025 for Paper I and from 1 November to 16 November 2025 for Paper II at various centres across the state.
The Bihar STET Admit Card was released on 11 October 2025 through the official website. The Bihar STET Result 2025 was declared on 5 January 2026. Candidates can check their scorecards by visiting the official websites and entering their registration number and date of birth.

The Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) syllabus is prescribed by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) and follows NCTE guidelines. EXAM PATTERN:
After completing the online application process, candidates can review the Bihar STET exam pattern. The examination is conducted in objective mode and consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only. There are no descriptive questions. Each paper is independent, and qualifying one paper does not affect the other. There is no negative marking in the exam.

EILIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 is conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) for recruiting teachers in secondary (Classes 9-10, Paper 1) and senior secondary (Classes 11-12, Paper 2) schools in Bihar. The eligibility criteria are based on the official notification released in September 2025 (applications from October 11 to October 5 extended, exam held October 14-31, 2025).

Candidates who wish to apply for the Bihar STET have to be a citizen of India and a resident of the State of Bihar.
Age Limit
Under Bihar STET 2025, the maximum age limit is 37 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates in the General category. The category-wise age limits for all other reserved categories under Bihar STET Recruitment 2025 are detailed in the table below.

Educational Qualification
Bihar STET comprises Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for those candidates who wish to teach 9 and 10th-grade students. Candidates who wish to teach grades 11 and 12 have to write Paper II.
