LATEST UPDATE 2026

The ATMA February 2026 session result has been announced (no delay reported) and was released on February 28, 2026. The exam was held in centre-based online (CBT) mode on February 22, 2026.

For the upcoming sessions in 2026 (based on the typical pattern of ATMA being conducted multiple times a year, though only February is officially detailed so far on the AIMS website and reliable sources):

The May Session Examination will be held on a date around mid-May 2026 (exact date to be confirmed by AIMS; historically often in the second week).

The June Session Examination will be held on a date around late June 2026 (exact date to be confirmed; pattern suggests third or fourth week).

The July Session Examination will be held on a date around mid-to-late July 2026 (exact date to be confirmed; pattern suggests third week).

Note: ATMA is usually conducted 4 times a year (e.g., February, May/June, July/August, sometimes more). As of now, only the February 2026 session has been officially announced with full details on atmaaims.com. Other sessions for 2026 are expected to follow the established pattern but will be confirmed separately on the official website (atmaaims.com) closer to the time. Registration for later sessions typically opens a few months in advance.

ATMA exam date was announced by Association of Indian Management Schools, AIMS. ATMA exam 2026 will be conducted on February 22, 2026, in computer based test mode. Duration of exam will be three hours and it will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM. ATMA 2026 application form was released on December 1, 2025. ATMA registration last date is February 10, 2026. Application fee window will close on February 9, 2026. ATMA application form 2026 is available online at atmaaims.com.

HOW TO APPLY

To apply for the ATMA exam, candidates must visit the official ATMA website and register by providing a valid email ID, mobile number, and personal details. After registration, they should log in to fill the online application form with personal, educational, and program-related information, and upload a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and any other required documents. The application fee must be paid online through credit/debit card, net banking, or other available modes. After carefully reviewing all details, candidates should submit the form and download the confirmation page or receipt for future reference. Applications are accepted online only, and all information must be accurate and submitted before the last date.

Step 1: Go to the official website of ATMA

Step 2: Enter your details, your email I.D., and your mobile number.

Step 3: After registration is completed, you will find the application number generated by the system in your email Id and mobile number.

Step 4: Now login again and select your subject, position, and preferred exam centre etc.

Step 5: You need to upload your photo and signature to the specified format in this step.

Step 6: Pay the application fee either by debit card/credit card / net banking or Paytm.

Step 7: In the final step, download four copies of the completed application form and the e-receipt for further reference payment.


Application Fees

The Registration Fee for ATMA exam is of 2000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only). The exam fee can be paid using Debit or Credit Card, Wallets, Net Banking, UPI only. Facility for payment of fee in Cash / DD / Cheque is not available.

Concession in Fees: 25% Concession in Fees is applicable for Women candidates & 50% Concession is applicable for candidates belonging to North Eastern States of India (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura).

ADMIT CARD

The admit card was released on the official website of the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). The candidates need to enter their PID and password to access the document. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to download admit card for the ATMA exam:

Step 1- Go to the official website

Step 2- Click on ‘Download ATMA Admit Card’

Step 3- Fill in the application number and Date of Birth. 

Step 4- After providing the credentials, the candidates will have to click on the ‘Submit ‘ button.

Step 5- The admit card will be displayed on the screen.

Step 6- Finally, the candidates will have to download and print out the ATMA admit card.



EXAM RESULT

Candidates will need to log in to the website using their PID number and password. Candidate can check their results by following the steps listed below:

Step 2-  On visiting the site, the candidate will have to find the link ‘ATMA Scorecard’.

Step 3- Candidates will have to enter their ATMA application number and date of birth.

Step 4- ATMA result download has to be done. 

Step 5- Take a printout of it and keep it safe for further use.

COUNSELLING PROCESS & CUTOFFS

ATMA does not conduct centralized counselling. After the ATMA exam, candidates receive their scorecards. Admissions are handled individually by participating management institutes, which shortlist candidates based on their ATMA scores. Shortlisted candidates may be called for Group Discussion (GD)Personal Interview (PI), or both, depending on the institute’s selection process. Final admission is offered by the respective college based on performance in ATMA and any additional rounds.

Cut-offs

Cut-offs are college-specific and vary each year depending on factors like the number of applicants, seat availability, and exam difficulty.

Top management institutes: Usually require ATMA percentile 80–95+

Mid-tier institutes: Usually require percentile 60–80

Other participating institutes: Usually require percentile 50–60 or above

Early application and a high ATMA score improve chances of selection, as cut-offs may differ for each program and category.

ATMA has no centralized counselling; candidates apply directly to colleges, and admissions are based on ATMA scores and institute-level selection rounds like GD/PI.

SELECTION PROCESS

The selection process for the AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) follows a three-stage decentralized procedure. First, candidates must appear for the national-level computer-based test. After that, participating B-schools shortlist candidates based on their ATMA scores (usually around 70–95+ percentile). In the final stage, shortlisted candidates are required to attend Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI) rounds conducted by the respective institutes.

Marking Scheme

According to the marking scheme prescribed by AIMS, for every correct answer, candidates will score one mark while 0.25 marks will be deducted for the wrong response. In the case of four incorrect answers, one mark will be subtracted from the total score. No marks will be awarded or deducted for questions unanswered.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates willing to apply for ATMA Examination are required to fulfill certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification, etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. The candidate’s eligibility for ATMA Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:-

IMPORTANT DATES

ATMA exam date was announced by Association of Indian Management Schools, AIMS. ATMA exam 2026 will be conducted on February 22, 2026, in computer based test mode. Duration of exam will be three hours and it will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM. ATMA 2026 application form was released on December 1, 2025. ATMA registration last date is February 10, 2026. Application fee window will close on February 9, 2026. ATMA application form 2026 is available online at atmaaims.com.
