UNITED INDIA INSURANCE COMPANY LIMITED (UIIC) ASSISTANT 2022
United Insurance Firm Limited (UIIC) was founded on February 18, 1938, as the Government of India’s second-largest general insurance company. The UIIC was formed by the merger of 22 insurance companies (12 Indian Insurance, 4 Cooperative Insurance Societies, 5 Foreign Insurers, and a General Insurance business). The organization is presently a well-known and preferred insurer in India. UIIC provides rural residents in India with a choice of insurance options.
UIIC ASSISTANT CAREER PROSPECTS
In the UIIC Assistant post candidates have to go through a 6 months probation period. During this probation period, candidates have specific duties and responsibilities. Employees are evaluated at the end of 6 months on the basis of their performance.
If the performance of the assistant level employee is up to the mark they could also be promoted to the post of administrative officer.
There are many other exams also available for employees in the organization, on clearing them they get to be promoted to a better post.

Given below are the responsibilities of UIIC Assistant :
1. Creation and Maintenance of the Database of the clients is also a part of the duties of the UIIC Assistant.
2. The UIIC Assistant provides assistance to the Administrative Officer and act as support to their co-workers.
3. Their work responsibility includes tasks related to insurance policies such as filling up insurance forms with regular documentation, issuing insurance policies, and setting the insurance claims of the customer.
4. The newly appointed UIIC assistants are also required to take care of the routine administrative work.
5. Their job responsibility may vary depending upon the requirements of the specific department or branch

UIIC ASSISTANT 2022 : EXAM PATTERN
The preliminary Examination for UIIC is held as a Computer Based test comprising 100 questions of 100 Marks. The total time available for candidates is 60 minutes (80 minutes for scribe).
The section-wise distribution of Questions and Marks is given below :-

UIIC ASSISTANT 2022 : MODE OF EXAMINATION
The examination of UIIC Assistant is held as an Online Computer-based Test. Questions will be Objective type multiple choice in nature.
UIIC ASSISTANT 2022 : MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION
The questions in objective tests, except for the test of English Language, will be made available in English and Hindi.
UIIC ASSISTANT 2022 : MARKING SCHEME
Sections of the test
1. Test of English Language
2. Test of Numerical Ability
3. Test of Reasoning Ability
Question from the above-mentioned sections are asked in UIIC Assistant Preliminary Examination where, Test of English language comprises 30 Questions of 1 mark each, Test of Numerical Ability comprises 35 questions of 1 mark each and Test of Reasoning Ability comprises 35 questions of 1 mark each summing up to total 100 marks.
Marking Scheme Highlights :-
1. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
2. There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Online Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at the corrected score.
3. No marks will be deducted for unattempted questions
4. The Company reserves the right to modify the structure of the examination which will be intimated through its Website
UIIC ASSISTANT 2022 : IMPORTANT FACTS
1. Preliminary Examination is an Objective type Computer Based Examination.
2. Those candidates who use a scribe shall be eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes or otherwise advised for every hour of the examination.
3. One fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned will be deducted as penalty for each wrong answer.
4. Candidates will have to meet both sectional and overall cut-off to qualify for Mains exam.
5. Adequate number of candidates state-wise and category-wise as decided by the Company will be shortlisted for the Tier II-Main Examination.

Candidates willing to apply for UIIC Assistant 2022 Examination are required to fulfil certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities.
The criteria for eligibility UIIC Assistant 2022 are decided by the conduction body itself.
The candidate’s eligibility for UIIC Assistant 2022 Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions :-

UIIC ASSISTANT 2022 : NATIONALITY
A candidate applying for recruitment in the Company must be either: –
1. A citizen of India, or
2. A subject of Nepal, or
3. A subject of Bhutan, or
4. A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India

The candidate should possess the following educational qualification in order to be eligible :-
1. Candidates should have a Graduation degree from a university that is recognized by the Government.
2. Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional language of the State of Recruitment is essential.

2. Candidates from Nepal or Bhutan should possess a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
3. The candidate shall be minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years of age.
4. A candidate must possess A Degree of Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University
5. Candidates should know to read, write and speak the Regional Language of the State/UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential.
6. Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before they apply that they fulfil the requirements as to Age, Educational Qualifications and other eligibility criteria and if found ineligible their candidature will be cancelled at any stage of recruitment.
