HOW TO APPLY

To apply for VITMEE 2026 (for M.Tech and MCA programs at VIT campuses — Vellore, Chennai, AP, Bhopal), follow the fully online application process on the official portal. Registrations are currently open (started in November 2025), and the last date to apply is April 12, 2026. The exam is scheduled for April 28 to May 3, 2026 (computer-based test).

Steps To Be Followed

1. Enter into New User page and register yourself with the required information
2. Verify your registered email id and mobile number for the password received from VIT. (Keep this email id and password till the completion of the admissions)
3. Fill out the application form. The cost of the application form is Rs. 1200/-. The application cost is non-refundable.
4. Pay the application fee of Rs.1200/- through online mode using net banking/Debit card / Credit card/Paytm mode
5. Upload your Photo and Sign the image on the  application form
6. Upload all semester/year/consolidated mark sheets
7. Aadhar card to be uploaded as mandatory.
8. The filled-in Application may be downloaded and stored for future reference.

ADMIT CARD

VITMEE 2026 Admit Card (for M.Tech and MCA programs) will be available for download online in April 2026 (likely mid-to-late April, closer to the exam dates) from the official portal at admissions.vit.ac.in (or vit.ac.in PG admissions section). It is generated and downloadable immediately after completing the mandatory slot booking process (first-come, first-served for your preferred exam date—April 28, 2026 (Tuesday) or May 3, 2026 (Sunday)—time, and test center across India). Log in using your application number and password (or date of birth in some cases) to book the slot and access the admit card.

EXAM RESULT

VITMEE 2026 results (for M.Tech and MCA entrance exam) are expected to be declared in May 2026 on the official portal at admissions.vit.ac.in (or vit.ac.in under PG admissions). The exam is scheduled for April 28 and May 3, 2026, so results typically follow within 2–4 weeks (often early to mid-May, based on consistent trends from previous years).

COUNSELLING PROCESS & CUTOFFS

VITMEE 2025 cutoffs for M.Tech and MCA are merit-based on ranks from the 100-mark exam, with no fixed official category-wise scores published beforehand by VIT (admissions completed in 2025). For popular M.Tech branches (e.g., CSE/IT-related) at Vellore/Chennai, scores around 380–420+ were typically competitive, while MCA and less sought-after M.Tech programs often required 320–400 marks for good chances.

Counselling Process 

The exam conducting authority will conduct the VITMEEE counselling process. Candidates who registered for VIT Master’s Entrance Examination will be shortlisted for participating in the VITMEE counselling and seat allotment process based on VITMEE scores/ranks. Candidates shortlisted for VITMEE counselling will be intimated through SMS on registered mobile regarding the interview/counselling process schedule.
