As per the latest official updates, the UPJEE B.Ed 2026 application process has already started and candidates could apply online from 10 February 2026. The last date to submit the application form without a late fee was 5 March 2026 and with late fee up to 10 March 2026 through the official Bundelkhand University, Jhansi website. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held on 26 April 2026 (Tentatively- offline mode) for admission into the 2-year B.Ed programme across colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
IMPORTANT DATES
The UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2026 is set to be held on 26 April 2026. The admit cards for the examination will be issued on 20 April 2026. The UP B.Ed JEE consists of two papers, and each paper contains 100 questions carrying a total of 200 marks. The duration of the examination is 3 hours.

VACANCY/SEATS DETAILS
UPJEE B.Ed is an entrance examination for admission and does not have vacancies. Seats are offered based on the availability of B.Ed seats in participating colleges across Uttar Pradesh. The total number of seats varies each year depending on approved intake capacity of government, aided, and private institutions. Final seat allotment is done through centralized online counselling based on entrance exam rank, category, and college preference.
The UPJEE B.Ed exam is conducted for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme in various government, aided, and private colleges across Uttar Pradesh. The total number of seats varies each year depending on:
- approvals from theNational Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)
- state government reservations and policies
- intake capacities of participating institutions
As of the last official seat matrix, the total number of B.Ed seats in Uttar Pradesh is spread across more than 600+ colleges, combining government, aided, and private institutions.

SALARY STRUCTURE
UPJEE B.Ed is an admission entrance exam and does not offer any salary. However, after completing the B.Ed programme and qualifying the required teacher eligibility tests and recruitment examinations, candidates may be appointed as teachers in government or private schools. Teacher salaries are governed by respective recruitment rules and pay commission guidelines applicable at the time of appointment.
After completing a B.Ed and securing a teaching position in government or aided schools in Uttar Pradesh, teachers are appointed as Assistant Teachers (Primary or Upper Primary) through recruitment drives such as UP Assistant Teacher Recruitment or Super TET. The salary is determined according to UP Government pay scales (7th CPC).

HOW TO APPLY
The application form must be completed online through the official website of the exam conducting authority. Candidates need to follow the steps outlined below to successfully apply for the UP JEE B.Ed.
Application Process
Step 1: Visit the official website of Bundelkhand University at bujhansi.ac.in or directly open the registration page using the application link.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Admission’ tab and select the ‘UP JEE B.Ed. 2026’ link.
Step 3: Find and click on the ‘Online Form Submission’ option.
Step 4: Fill in the application form carefully by entering your personal details, educational qualifications, and contact information.
Step 5: Upload the required documents such as your passport-size photograph, identity proof, and educational certificates. Make sure the files are in the prescribed format and size.
Step 6: Pay the application fee through the available online payment options. Save the payment receipt for future reference.

EXAM CENTERS
The exam will be conducted on 26 April 2026 (Sunday) at various centres across Uttar Pradesh. Candidates must select any 5 districts of their choice from the list given in Appendix-3 of the brochure while filling the online application form. Bundelkhand University, Jhansi (the organising university) will allot the final exam centre in one of the 5 chosen districts according to seat availability. The allotted centre cannot be changed later.

Registration Number (15-digit computer-generated number received during application)
Password (set during registration)

- Submit the details ? Your admit card (hall ticket) will appear on the screen in PDF format.

Important Tips
No physical admit card will be sent by post/email—only online download.
You must carry the printed admit card + a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, etc.) to the exam centre. Without it, entry will be denied.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
If you are planning to appear for UP B.Ed JEE 2026, make sure you first check whether you satisfy the required eligibility criteria. The following conditions must be fulfilled:
1. Nationality
Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
Domicile of Uttar Pradesh is not mandatory to appear for the exam.
2. Age Limit
Minimum Age: 21 years at the time of admission (some institutions may accept 19–20 years as per last notification, check official brochure).
Maximum Age: No upper age limit.
Age relaxations for reserved categories, if applicable, will be as per government norms.
3. Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant disciplines. The details are as follows:
For General B.Ed Admission:
Graduation in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Social Science with minimum 50% marks from a recognized university.
Engineering / Technology graduates must have minimum 55% marks.
Final-year students can also apply provisionally, provided they complete the degree before counselling.
For Special Education / Reserved Category Relaxation:
Relaxation of 5% in minimum marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates, subject to official norms.
Relevant special education qualifications (if opting for B.Ed Special Education courses).
4. Number of Attempts
No limit on the number of attempts.
Candidates can appear multiple times as long as other eligibility conditions are met.
5. Other Requirements
Candidates must meet the physical and medical fitness standards as prescribed by the respective colleges at the time of admission.
Must possess valid documents for verification during counselling, including:
Graduation / Post-Graduation mark sheets
Category certificate (if applicable)
Photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport)
6. Eligibility for Special Cases
Candidates completing their final year of graduation may apply provisionally.
Distance education / correspondence degrees must be recognized by UGC / DEB.
Admission will be denied if the candidate fails to submit final degree or meet minimum marks requirement at the time of counselling.
IMPORTANT DATES
The UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination 2026 is set to be held on 26 April 2026. The admit cards for the examination will be issued on 20 April 2026. The UP B.Ed JEE consists of two papers, and each paper contains 100 questions carrying a total of 200 marks. The duration of the examination is 3 hours.
