1. Nationality

Requirement: Candidates must be Indian Citizens for all designations—AAO Generalist, AAO Specialist (across all five specializations: Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Actuarial, Insurance Specialist, Legal), and Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical).

Details: LIC invites applications from “eligible Indian Citizens” only. There are no provisions for non-residents, foreign nationals, or persons of Indian origin (PIO)/overseas citizens of India (OCI) unless they hold Indian citizenship. This ensures compliance with LIC’s recruitment policy, which aligns with government regulations for public sector undertakings in India. Candidates may need to provide proof of citizenship (e.g., passport, voter ID, or Aadhaar) during verification stages, such as the interview or document scrutiny.

2. Age Limits

AAO Generalist, AAO Specialist (Company Secretary, Actuarial, Insurance Specialist), Assistant Engineer (Civil/Electrical):

Minimum Age: 21 years (completed).

Minimum Age: 21 years (completed).
