LATEST UPDATE FOR SEBI OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) 2022 EXAM

SEBI recruitment notification has been published on 5th January 2022 for SEBI Grade A (Assistant Manager) in various streams inviting eligible graduates & post-graduates . Phase I online examination was held on 20th February 2022. The Phase II online examination was held on 20th March 2022 with the exception of Paper 2 of IT Stream, was on 03rd April 2022.

SEBI OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) 2022 EXAM

The Securities and Exchange Board of India was constituted as a non-statutory body on April 12, 1988, through a resolution of the Government of India. SEBI aims to protect the interests of investors in securities and to promote the development of and regulate the securities market.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India was established as a statutory body in the year 1992 and the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) came into force on January 30, 1992.

SEBI OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) CAREER PROSPECTS

The SEBI Grade A Assistant Manager is an entry-level job in the SEBI. The growth path takes a candidate from Grade B, Grade C, Grade D, Grade E, Grade F to the top level of an Executive Director. Furthermore, the Executive Director can be promoted to the post of Chairman. Promotions are dependent on the existence of roles, openings, operational work, etc. However, it will take at least 5-6 years to be promoted from one post to another.

SEBI OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) JOB PROFILE

As there are five different streams for SEBI Grade A recruitment, each profile may have different work and tasks to be completed beforehand.

1. Looking after the legal issues. Employees will be responsible for the issues related to the legal framework and the organization itself.
2. Handling issues related to market securities, commodities, and Indexes, etc.
3. The employee may be given multiple responsibilities in the IT department.
4. Looking after the acquisition and mergers.

Step 3: Click on new registration and complete the registration process.

Step 4: You will receive the registration number and password on your email ID.

Step 5: Log in with your credential and click on apply now.

Step 6: Fill your application form and proceed with the document upload.

Step 7: Upload a scanned copy of all the essential documents with good quality and submit them.

Step 8: Complete the application fee payment process and pay your application fees online.

Step 9: After successful fee payment, save the completed application form along with the fee payment receipt either as a PDF soft copy or take a printout for future references.

SEBI OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) 2022 EXAM

The Securities and Exchange Board of India was constituted as a non-statutory body on April 12, 1988, through a resolution of the Government of India. SEBI aims to protect the interests of investors in securities and to promote the development of and regulate the securities market.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India was established as a statutory body in the year 1992 and the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) came into force on January 30, 1992.

The SEBI Grade A Exam Pattern 2022 Phase-1 & Phase-2 Examination has been discussed in the below section for your reference. 

SEBI Grade A EXAM PATTERN

1. An online examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each. 

2. Paper-1 will be of 60 minutes (1 hour) duration and common for all streams. 

3. Paper-2 will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions, the duration of each section is 40 minutes. 

4. The Aggregate Cut-off to be scored is 40%.

SEBI OFFICER GRADE A (ASSISTANT MANAGER) 2022 EXAM

Candidates would need to secure separate cut-off in each paper as well as aggregate cut-off marks of 40% in Phase I exam to be shortlisted for Phase II.      

Candidates willing to apply for SEBI OFFICER GRADE A are required to fulfill certain conditions to be eligible for it. The candidate who does not satisfy the Eligibility criteria like Age, Minimum educational qualification etc., their candidature shall be rejected by the authorities. 

The candidate’s eligibility for SEBI OFFICER GRADE A 2022 Examination is based on the fulfilment of the following conditions:-

The educational qualification for various streams has been given below. 

1. For General Stream: Master’s Degree in any discipline, Bachelors’ Degree in Law, Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering from a recognized university, CA / CFA / CS / Cost Accountant.

2. For Legal Stream: Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University / Institute.

3. For Information Technology: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Electronics And Communication / Information Technology / Computer Science) OR Masters in Computers Application OR Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a post graduate qualification (minimum 2 years duration) in Computers / Information Technology.

3. For Engineering (Civil): Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.

4. For Engineering (Electrical): Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University / Institute.

5. For Research: Master’s Degree in Statistics / Economics / Commerce / Business Administration (Finance) / Econometrics from a recognized University / Institute.

6. For Official Language: Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit / English / Economics / Commerce with Hindi as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized University / Institute.
